In '62 Carlo Oldrini, together with a partner, was selling weed killers in 5-liter drums; one day a customer asked if, by chance, the product was not also available in 1-liter bottles: it was at that moment that the idea was born to design and build the first dispensers, which over time have become true automation components.
Karr manufactures patented pneumatically operated volumetric dosing filling machines for industry.
Our dosing machines were renewed, and in 1985 we created a new series of innovative and functional volumetric dosing machines.
This is the year when Karr also specializes for the food industry, in confectionery, canning and dairy. It also begins to use only AISI 316L stainless steel.
Technology has changed radically in sixty years, but Karr has not: from its Milan headquarters on Viale Jenner, to a more spacious plant in Assago in 2004.
To keep up with the times, the first electronic dosing machines are also made for the first time.
Inauguration of a second shed in 2018 to support a continuously growing business, proving the company's solidity rooted in the business idea that founder Carlo Oldrini had.
Important milestone for the company: achievement of the MOCA Declaration of Conformity, a certification through which product quality is guaranteed at all stages of the process.
